His images capture subjects in their natural habitats while doing their own thing. CCHC PET PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS See the winners on our website. Thank you to all of you that entered photos and voted for your favorites. Since beginning this contest in 2000, over $10,000.00 has been raised for the Copper Country Humane Society. IN CELEBRATION OF OUR AUNTS - BOOK SIGNING WITH PATRICIA SOTIRIN AND A CUPCAKE AND COFFEE RECEPTION Bring along that special aunt or uncle or niece or nephew and enjoy coffee and cupcakes while visiting with Patty and sharing your own stories. Patty has co-authored a book entitled Aunting - Cultural Practices That Sustain Family and Community Life. OCTOBER Artist of the Month - JON BROOKHOUSE We have represented Jon and his pottery for many years. He continues to produce functional yet artistic pieces that we love. October 16th, 1-4pm. BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP II
This class is designed as both a
follow-up class and a class for new attendees. Using illustration
board and a solvent, the class will experiment with layering of color
in a freer manner than traditional botanicals, but still using plants
as the subject. Teacher: Barbara Flanagin. NOVEMBER Artist of the Month - AMANDA SZOT, JEWELRY DESIGNER Amanda has shown her work here for almost a decade. Her new designs incorporate both fresh water pearls and regional rocks and minerals. November 18th, 7-9pm. ANNUAL HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE Join us for an evening of fun shopping and yummy food tastings. Meet artists, enjoy fresh new holiday merchandise and displays, and sign up for great door prizes. You'll find the store in its festive holiday wrappings. November 21st, 1-2pm. HUMANE SOCIETY TREE DECORATED BY THE 4-H A holiday tradition here at the Einerlei since 1989. Since that time, over $5200 has been raised from the sale of handmade ornaments made by local 4-H clubs. Each handmade ornament is still sold for only $1.00 each and all the money goes to the Copper Country Humane Society.
