IN
MEMORY OF BEAR
? to
April 6, 2008
Bear, the resident Einerlei shop dog for nine and one half
years came to us in 1998 from the Copper Country Humane
Society animal shelter. Those of you that were fortunate
enough to meet him know that he was sweet-natured and loved
people...and everything else in life! His loving gazes and
the touch of his paw will be sorely missed.
We
thought that he was an interesting mix of breeds adding up to
"mutt" until we discovered that he was a Leonberger. The
Leonberger breed was originated in Leonberg, Germany and was a
combination of St. Bernard, Great Pyrenees, and Newfoundland.
Type in leonberger.com and find out more.
Bear
will remain in our hearts forever. He is one more really good
reason to support your local humane society and animal
shelter.
